My name is Francis Ortiz, and I am the proud founder of Uni Star Personal Care, LLC. With over 25 years of experience caring for the elderly, disabled adults, and children with special needs, my life’s work has always centered around compassion, dignity, and respect.
My journey into caregiving began when I was just 18 years old. My mother became very ill and was approved to have a caregiver. However, she was determined that her caregiver would be me. She asked her home care agency to hire me—and they did. That first experience changed my life forever. Through caring for my mother, I discovered a deep passion for helping others maintain comfort, independence, and a sense of belonging.
After my mother’s passing, I dedicated myself even more to this calling. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working closely with individuals and families to provide essential daily living support—such as bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and mobility assistance. Every person I’ve served has strengthened my belief that caregiving is not just a job—it’s a mission of the heart.
With this purpose in mind, I founded Uni Star Personal Care, LLC—a trusted home care agency built on the values of compassion, reliability, and excellence. My goal is to ensure that every client we serve feels seen, valued, and cared for as if they were part of our own family.
